I had the pleasure of working with Candace in the beginning of this year in looking for a home. I must say that it was an absolute pleasure working with her. She informed me at the beginning of the process that she works for me, and if there is anything that I need, to let her know. She definitely lived by those words, as she feels your highs/lows.......etc.! It didn't matter day or night, if you needed something, you could reach her by phone or by text......Candace really took the time out to get a feel for what I liked, and didn't like in a home. If I provided her an address to a property that I wanted to see, she'd tell me "Kevin, I don't think you'd like that property as it doesn't have all the specs you want". In other words, Candace REALLY listens to what you want. During our time together looking for property. I was exhausted with the process and wanted to take a break from house hunting. Candace knew that I was frustrated with the whole process (getting out bid on houses I liked, not the right specs, sellers not following up with their offers.... etc.). I decided, “I'll take a look one more time at some houses". Candace sent me some new properties. So, we set up a viewing, and it was to my liking. So, Candace called me and we discussed what I thought about the property, I told her "I like it but cannot take another let down and possibly need a break to get re-energized". Candace wrote the offer, and submitted it. The seller accepted the offer, and I closed on the house. I'm thankful that the Lord allowed Candace and I to cross paths, as during this whole process she became more than a realtor, she became more of a friend. We still stay in contact to say hello from time to time, which to me, exhibits true friendship........If ANYONE has the opportunity to work with her, you will NOT be disappointed! Everyone looks for a dream home, to start with you need a dream real estate agent. Candy was a dream to work with she let us make our own decision without any of her own influence to make the sale. Candy had all of the answers to the questions we had, and if not she was able to get those answers within a reasonable time frame. there are always questions that need to answered and sometimes you think of those at the time of showing, sometimes they come up later, Candy took the time regardless of the day of the week or time of day to return all of our calls in reasonable time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANDY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REALTOR!!! We had been looking on Zillow and Trulia for several months without any luck before we got serious and contacted Candy. I doubted that a realtor would find anything much better than we had been seeing, but I was pleasantly surprised. She listened to what we were looking for in a home and consistently found promising homes for us to visit week after week -- ones that we had not found online. She patiently showed us many homes over a few months (they were VERY close to what we wanted, but we were kind of picky). When we finally found a home we were pleased with and went under contract, the home inspector she recommended found some serious issues that the sellers did not want to repair. She helped us through the ordeal of getting out of the contract with 100% of our deposit back. Shortly thereafter, we found the home that we bought and she adeptly navigated us through the process. We weren't first-time home buyers, but the home was a corporate relocation, which we were not familiar with. She expertly explained how it was different and handled everything. A homebuying experience will never be stress-free, but I honestly feel like she did everything she could to minimize the stress on us -- dealing with lawyers, mortgage agents, inspectors, etc. -- and minimizing the effort that we had to spend on these tedious details.
